November 16, 2008.
Despite having a slightly swollen cheek from my tooth extraction, my sister and I went to Fort Bonifacio to watch a concert that's highly anticipated by lots of people.
Rihanna and Chris Brown performing back to back.
It was an awesome experience.
A lot of people were there (around 60,000). It's a mixture of high society and the "average" people. :) From, celebrities, to socialites to even high school students were there (considering it was a Sunday and there's school the next day) :))
We got there around 7:00pm but still got a good view (we were Silver ticket holders). That's the good thing about an open field concert, you just have to work your way in the crowd. Downside of open field concert: no seats to just rest for a while. We were far but hey, it was still worth it because i really wanted to see them perform live, and hey, to watch a performance of two of the best artists in one concert is really something else!
Chris Brown was the first one to perform and, OMG, he looked great! He is just too cute! I just can't help but dance along to his songs! I wasn't able to jump though because of my swollen cheek. :)) He is just so good in dancing!
After Chris' performance, they had a fireworks display while Rihanna's stage is being prepared.
Rihanna came out as cool as she always does, bursting in the stage with Disturbia. She is just too sexy and cool and pretty.. I love the way she performs, she doesn't really do the dancing thing but she is just too cool on stage! And she is hot! :)) She exudes this aura of confidence and awesomeness on stage. I love it!
I really loved the last song, Umbrella/Cinderella because Chris sang with her. They are just too cute! I swear I was so kilig!! :))
After the concert, there was traffic again inside the Fort. Cars and people. I was telling my sister it was like a Nov. 1 scene with just a different kind of people and place. :)) Concert started at 8:30, and ended at around 11:30-ish. Got out of the fort at 12:30. Cars were not moving. Thank God my aunt was there to pick up my cousin or else, my sister and I would've walked going out of the Fort. And thank God, my uncle knows his way out of the Fort, like shortcuts and everything or else, we would've gotten out of there at around 1am pa.
Thanks to my sister for getting the tickets! Love ya!
