May was my birth month. Why I'm making this post on June, I'm not really sure. Blame it on "busy-ness" or maybe just plain lazy. ;p
There was a time when I'm one of those people who get really excited for their birthdays to come. Now I'm not. A few birthdays with not so good vibes will do that to you.
Don't get me wrong. I am grateful for another year added in my life span. But having a big fuss over it is something I don't do anymore. I guess that's what age does to you. That, or nobody fusses over it for you to actually also fuss over it. Hehe.
Then social media happened. Most people publish or post their birth dates on their social media pages (Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, etc). Not for me. I don't like letting a social media site remind people of my birthday and telling them to greet me. Social media and I are okay, but we're not THAT close. It also shows me who actually remembers my birthday. ;)
We have this thing that we do in the office where we post photos of the
birthday celebrant on the wall. We also put balloons and whatevers. I
told my cousin to not do that anymore since I was the one who initiated
that, so it won't be a "surprise" anymore. Hahaha!
Originally, my plan was since my birthday landed on a Monday, I was
planning on not going to work that day and will just go somewhere like
Tagaytay or eat out by myself. A simple "me" time. But I had to attend a
meeting for one of the part-time jobs I took so "me" time is out of the
question.
Instead, I went to my meetings and went to Valle and look what greeted me above my office table!
Sweet right? Who needs a boyfriend when you've got a cousin who does this for you? :)
Did not expect that one :)
Funny story about this surprise. Since it was a weekend before my birthday, they were guessing if I will be coming to the office or not since I have been sending feelers that I wanted to go on a spontaneous day trip. Nobody knew of my unexpected meeting. My cousin Abi was asking everyone if I will be going in that Monday.
So I played mind games. And everything was a domino effect from there on. Haha!
I posted things on my Snapchat like a suitcase with a caption "All my bags are packed"
After that post, that got them thinking if I was really going on a day trip. Tin told Abi about my browsing hotel and beach websites. There was that one time Tin was beside me and I was checking out websites of hotels
and beach resorts (for no reason, I usually do this just because). Worried, they tried calling Ana, my office mate, but she was not answering. Haha!
In the end, they just did the surprise balloons, hoping that I would come in on that Monday.
Which obviously, I did. They were happy. Haha!
I went home early that day to a birthday cake from my family, aside from the cake my tita Marissa bought for me.
It was a day that came and went. Another year to be thankful for. Another year of being able to make a difference and bless others.
All thanks and glory to God. :)

4 years later... ;p
Yep.
So based on my last entry, I ended my FEBRUARY 2012 blog with a "wait for my next one", meaning my "next blog entry".
So here it is. Four year after. Hahaha!
Wow. Good job Michelle.
A lot has happened. A lot.
Some are so blog-worthy but I got lazy to update. Haha!
So what I'll do is make "throwback blog entries" of adventures that happened between Feb 2012 and now.
Resurrecting my blog page
It's like starting new.
I need it.
For my sanity. ;p
Peace yow! :)

So, it's February 2012. What a way to welcome the new year by doing a blog entry on the second month. -_-
It's just been a hustle bustle January that I have to re-process everything before I could even write a proper entry.
I told myself that I would try to be more informative in my blog entries but I decided that this one's going to be my personal one. Where my emotions are let out but with boundaries. :)
I also will try to write serious personal stuff in a journal since online blogs are not really the place where you spill stuff. :)
So, hopefully, I get to have time to do this properly.
Wait for my next one. :)

I just got a phone call from a Smart Communications agent and reminded me of my inquiry for the iPhone 4S.
I completely forgot all about registering for an inquiry on the price.
When I saw that Smart will also release the iPhone 4S in conjunction with their postpaid plans, I got excited. I wanted to get a postpaid plan for the longest time, I just don't know when is the right time.
When the iPhone 3GS was released, only Globe had the exclusive hold on it in the Philippines, so I ended up buying an open line one because I was skeptic as to getting a postpaid line with Globe because of all the negative comments I have heard from other people, friends & family. And getting a postpaid line means that I would have to be with them for 2 years.
I was like, they were complaining with signal loss and difficulty getting through, so why put myself in that same spot when I don't experience anything majorly bad (so far) from my existing telecommunications company?
So I waited.
I wanted an iPhone 4S, but not to the point that I wanted it so bad. I was waiting for the right time to purchase it.
So the call couldn't come any less of a perfect timing for me to get a postpaid line in my preferred telco, Smart.
I consider this a reward for waiting. The Lord knows I want it and I have waited for it and he's now giving it to me.
Yes, it may mean spending, but blessings doesn't necessarily mean that it's free. It may come in other sort of form, like a discount or a practical way to spend money.
So yeah, iPhone 4S, I'm ready for you. :">
